What are the best Laptops/Processors in 2010?
What should i look for in the features of a computer that will make it a good laptop i.e. amount of RAM, Hard Drive, graphic cards, processors, etc. My friend has told me that Dell studio laptops are good. If you can please make a list of the best features and name some laptops that have that. BTW I have been saving up and i am willing to spend max $1,500 on a laptop.
Intel core i7 QM (quad core with hyper threading)
With $1500, you can buy a pretty powerful laptop.
Here is some examples: (take note of the specs, like max amount of ram, graphics card, processor)
MSI GX640-098US NoteBook Intel Core i5 430M(2.26GHz) 15.4″ Wide SXGA+ 4GB Memory 500GB HDD 7200rpm DVD Super Multi ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5850
$1,099.99
(Core i5 may not be the best but the Ati 5850 is a very powerful graphics card!)
(15′6 inch screen is pretty good for gaming)
ASUS G Series G51JX-X1 NoteBook Intel Core i7 720QM(1.60GHz) 15.6″ 4GB Memory DDR3 1066 500GB HDD 7200rpm DVD Super Multi NVIDIA GeForce GTS 360M
Equipped w/ latest Core i7 720QM + NVIDIA GTS360M
$1,199.99
(Core i7 goodness. The GTS 360M is slightly weaker than the ATi 5850)
Powerhouse laptop:
ASUS G Series G73JH-X1 NoteBook Intel Core i7 720QM(1.60GHz) 17.3″ 8GB Memory 500GB HDD 7200rpm DVD Super Multi ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5870
$1,599.99
And if you are looking for a 14 incher:
ASUS N81 Series N81Vp-X1 NoteBook Intel Core 2 Duo P8700(2.53GHz) 14″ 4GB Memory 320GB HDD 7200rpm DVD Super Multi ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4650
Equipped w/ ATI HD4650 +1 year accidental warranty
$849.99
(not bad for a 14 inch laptop)
