Best Computer Protection Software 2010

What is the best antivirus for 2010?

I want something that is easy to use and won’t slow down my computer. I used to use Panda Global Protection, but I’ve heard that the 2010 version is extremely crappy and there are a lot of problems associated with this software. I’ve done a lot of research but I keep getting mixed reviews. One site would have the number one product as Norton and another would have Norton as number 4. I’m so confused! From personal experience, would someone suggest the best antivirus available for 2010?
