What is the current situation in Software development outsourcing? How will be the marketing in 2009?

Personally I don’t think anyone can predict anything the way things are going at the moment both here and the US. Well the G7 for that matter. Companies are shedding staff like there is no tomorrow.

When the system starts collapsing it has that nasty effect that takes everything down with it. I think people have more worries about important things in their lives than Software Development.

Let’s face it, as more and more companies are going to the wall, who are the software manufacturers going to flog their gear to?

The so called experts recon that the UK will be up to it’s neck in it for the next five years! What are you going to do, buy that new bit of fancy software or pay the mortgage, the bills and put food on the table? I know certainly what I would do!
