Terms & Conditions

You must be 18+ and not pregnant or breastfeeding. Please disclose any concerns that may affect the tattoo process or healing before booking.

QUOTES

Please note all quotes are only valid for 8 weeks, unless secured by booking and attending your agreed appointment.

DESIGNS

Designs are available for viewing on the day. Elysha strives to bring your vision to life and ensure that styles align! She allows time at the start of appointments to discuss minor changes in person.​

 

  • Elysha does not copy other artists' work to uphold integrity.

  • To change your design or proceed with fewer designs, please notify us at least 48 hours before your appointment.

  • Significant changes on the day (including multiple revisions and design alterations) will result in a $50+ fee, rescheduling, or deposit forfeiture.

  • Completely changing your idea on the day to a design not previously discussed via email will result in a $100+ fee due to the time and preparation required for custom designs. 

  • Not proceeding with your tattoo on the day will forfeit your deposit and a charge will apply to cover business costs, time and supplies.
     

Your appointment time and quotes are determined by the details you have provided. Larger or more detailed tattoos will incur extra charges, and may be rescheduled to allow for more time; while smaller or simpler designs will not affect your quote as time has already been allotted accordingly.

CANCELATIONS AND RESCHEDULES

  • Booking fees are non-refundable/transferable (cannot be moved between clients or multiple reschedules).

  • One reschedule is allowed with a minimum 48-hours notice. Further rescheduling will forfeit the booking fee and a new booking fee will be required.

    • If you cannot book a new time within 8 weeks, we will refund your deposit minus a $50+ administrative fee. We do not hold deposits longer than 8 weeks, and quotes may change.

  • Arriving 15+ minutes late may result in a cancellation*

  • Failure to attend two appointments results in being unable to book future sessions.

  • *Cancellations lead to deposit forfeiture, a new deposit will be taken to rebook.

PREPARATION

DO NOT come to the appointment sunburnt, using numbing cream, wearing fake tan, or on antibiotics or accutane. If you do, you will be refused to be tattooed and this will result in the loss of your deposit. A new deposit will be required to book back in.

 

PREPARATION

Please disclose any medical conditions or medications that may affect the tattooing process or healing. This includes, but is not limited to:
 

  • Recent use of antibiotics (must wait at least 4 weeks after final course)

  • Immune disorders or metabolic conditions (e.g. diabetes)

  • Steroid or acne creams used on the desired area

  • Accutane or retinol medications (must wait at least 6 months after final course)

  • Blood-thinning medications
     

Alcohol must not be consumed within 24 hours of your appointment. If you have any concerns or questions, don’t hesitate to reach out prior to your booking.

 

AFTERCARE

It is your responsibility to look after your new tattoo and follow the instructions provided to get a good healed result. Failure to look after your tattoo will result in a distorted/faded/patchy result.

TOUCH UP

If you follow the aftercare, a touch-up should not be required. Fine-line tattoos heal more grey due to their thin lines; if you are wanting a bolder tattoo, the lines will need to be thicker than the work on Elyshas' page and discussed prior to tattooing. Please note, your skin will have natural discrepancies as it is an organic matter.

Failure to look after your tattoo will result in a distorted/faded/patchy result. A touch up due to negligence of aftercare incurs a $150+ fee and may result in the tattoo not looking as good as it could have been. 

 

If a touch-up is needed, you’ll notice it within 4-8 weeks after your appointment. One free touch-up is available for black ink tattoos if booked and completed within 3 months of your original appointment (exclusions apply, see below).

 

Please reach out within 6-8 weeks of your appointment to schedule your touch-up, as bookings fill up quickly. A photo of your healed tattoo will be required, and the tattoo must be fully healed (6-8 weeks post-appointment) before the touch-up can be done. If the artist determines a touch-up isn’t necessary, you’ll be advised accordingly.

You will be charged an additional $50+ fee for the touch-up if: 
 

  • It is a touch-up for coloured or grey-wash ink.

  • It is on hands, wrists, fingers, ankles, feet, neck, or ears. 

  • No free touch up appointments on weekends.

  • You cancel or reschedule your touch-up appointment outside the 48 hours.

  • The touch-up is outside the 3-month period ($150 - full recharge)

  • Aftercare was not followed/negligence during healing ($150 - full recharge)

  • You want the lines thicker ($150 - full recharge)

  • You cancel or reschedule more than once. ($150 - full recharge)

  • You are a no-show to your appointment. ($150 - full recharge)
     

All free touch-ups are subject to artist availability, and clients are responsible for reaching out and securing an appointment within the timeframe.
